It is a theory course.
Lectures- the main theory is presented on slides whereas all the examples and proofs of theorems are explained on the white board and discussed.
Seminars- solving problems based on the theory of the lectures; discussions.

Studieinformasjon og dokumentasjon

In the beginning of the course the curriculum and the literature are announced. During the semester on 'My space' in 'file storage' the following literature is available:
    - lecture notes;
    - compulsories;
    - exam examples;
    - curriculum.
 During the semester there are 2 compulsories  which includes theory questions and problems. The grades define 10% of the final grade of the exam.

Metode - gjennomføring

- lectures - introducing new information;
           - remaining known facts by questioning and discussions;
           - for the assimilation of the new information diving examples or/and asking for applications on given problems.
              
- seminars - open discussion on the problems leading to complete solutions.
