The aim of the course is to provide the student with basic knowledge in biochemistry and molecular biology qualifying the student for further studies in pharmacy or human nutrition and the course is thus a part of these professional studies. Students will also gain insight into experimental molecular biology and are given an overview of biotechnological methodology.

Lectures, Student-active lectures, Laboratory courses, Data course and Colloquias.
Compulsory Assignments and Attendance
Participation in the health and safety introduction and the computational and laboratory exercises are mandatory. Laboratory procedures must be executed in a satisfactory manner. Laboratory journals have to be approved before students can take the final exam. The students are encouraged to attend lectures and colloquium groups.
