The bachelor's programme in General Psychology provides general and theoretical knowledge about the basic disciplines of psychology (biological psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, personality psychology, and social psychology), with the possibility of in-depth studies in selected fields.
The programme also provides knowledge about general research methods in psychology. Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and cognition among people (and animals). Behaviour is explained in psychology through theories that are based on scientific methods. The programme develops your ability to identify and analyze people in interaction with their surroundings. Reading and participating in lectures and seminars familiarizes you with main trends, major theoretical perspectives, key contributions to research and findings in the field of psychology.
