Learning Outcomes

The course provides an overview of the history and spoken varieties of the Scandinavian languages, with a focus on Norwegian. The course is intended for foreign students who are already studying Scandinavian languages and/or literature.

The aim of the course is to provide an insight into the history of the Scandinavian languages, especially Norwegian, as well as phonology and dialectology.
