Aim

The student has insight into the central role hygine has had in the formation of developed democracies, and especially the hygien¿s central role in modern nursing.

Content

The connections between hygiene and politics.
Theories on civilisation and discipline.
Studies on cleanliness.
The connections between hygiene and modern nursing.

Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to critically reflect both orally and in writing about the connections between hygiene, politics and modern nursing.
