At the end of the course, the students are expected to have:

- capable of describing specific nutritional conditions using nutrition-related knowledge
- capable of explaining the interrelation between nutrition and other biomedical disciplines

- independent reading of and critical reflection on scientific literature
- capable of comparing and evaluating nutritional research, from molecular studies to large-scale epidemiological studies
- capable of making research-based nutritional recommendations
- capable of presenting scientific data
Competence:
- the ability to participate actively in scientific discussions (on a limited topic)
- the ability to take part in team work
