Objectives and Content

This course provides a brief outline of oral diseases, their diagnosis and treatment, and helps to strengthen the students' contact and affiliation with the dental environment.

Learning Outcomes

The candidate must

- recognize clinical service as a teaching method

- learn about the most common oral diseases, their diagnosis and treatment

- strengthen their contact with the dental profession and environment

Teaching and learning methods

The course includes lectures and a clinical introduction course

Compulsory Assignments and Attendance

Mandatory attendance at training on simulators, observer service, infection control, and ethics courses

All teaching is mandatory, except for lectures. The student is responsible for reporting absences, and unexcused absences are not allowed.¿In addition to the attendance requirements, the academic requirements must be met, both in terms of the quality of the work and sufficient practice¿.

Forms of Assessment

The student must complete a mandatory digital test in ethics and infection control.

The student must meet the requirements for the scheduled simulation exercises.

The student must have participated in at least 6 clinical sessions as an observer/assistant for 5th-year students
