Objectives and Content

The aim of the course is to provide the student with basic knowledge in biochemistry and molecular biology qualifying the student for further studies in pharmacy or nutrition. Students will also gain insight into experimental molecular biology and are given an overview of biotechnological methodology.

Beginner course for first year students attending Bachelor programme in nutrition as well as second year students attending Master Programme in Pharmac

Access to the Course

Master`s programme in Pharmacy or Bachelor programme i Nutrition

Teaching and learning methods

Lectures, Student-active lectures, Laboratory courses, Data course and Colloquias.

Compulsory Assignments and Attendance

Participation in the health and safety introduction and the computational and laboratory exercises are mandatory. Laboratory procedures must be executed in a satisfactory manner. Laboratory journals have to be approved before students can take the final exam. The students are encouraged to attend lectures and colloquium groups.

Forms of Assessment

4 hour digitalized written exam.
